Chipboards have a grain-like texture of wood, however, it is completely composed of recycled paper. The thickness of the chipboard determines its use. Chipboards are produced by mashing of waste papers to produce paper pulp. After they have been glued together, it will be passed through a die cutting machine where pressure is applied to make it available in cuts of the desired shapes. Even office and school supplies can be made of chipboards. The back of the pad papers, calendars, diaries, notepads, binders, and pocket folders are some examples of lower-density chipboards. They can also be used in making crafts as it is or as part of one. Cut-out letters can be made out of it. For scrapbooking needs, chipboards can be used to create thickness and texture on the pages.
